Inhabited since the past and passed through one of the most famous Roman Street, The Via Claudia Augusta Altinate, it is the most populous centre of the plateau.

Thanks to the scenery, the folklore, hotels and accommodation structures, the renowned ski resorts and the peaceful rhythm of life it is an appreciated tourist centre. The village boasts the biggest wood sprawls of Trentino and it is the perfect starting point to take a walk or to go on an excursion. 

Sightseeing: the XV-century church of  S. Ippolito with its precious cycle of frescoes, the cave of Castello Tesino, the Roman bridge, the Rhaetian excavations, the museum of wood,, La Cascatella park, the plateau of Celado, the ski resort Marande, Passo Brocon with its famous “Trodo dei fiori”  and the several huts that dot the pastures.


Situated in front of  Castello Tesino in a decentralized position as regards the valley. It is a town of emigrants and pedlars, it is a perfect place of staying in an environment rich in ideas for a relaxing holiday and for contact with nature. The woods give interesting opportunities for hikers, bikers and for lovers of the nature in general.

Sightseeing: the parish church, the gorge of the brook Grigno and the Ponte del Diavolo, the expanses of meadows of Monte Mezza with the rock climbing nearby


The village emerges on the southern slopes of Silvana Mount and fans out across the Tesino valley. Summer and winter holyday resort, well-known for being the birthplace of the famous statesman Alcide De Gasperi.

The surrounding area is ideal for excursions and walks of environmental and landscape interest. The granite massif of Cima d’Asta (2847 m) rises majestically to the north of Pieve Tesino and is a popular destination for climbers and mountain lovers who set out along the famous “Alta Via del Granito” (Granite Way).   

Sightseeing: The house museum Alcide De Gasperi, the church of Assunta and the church of S. Sebastiano, the beautiful villa Daziaro (private house), the extensions of the golf camp “La farfalla”, the arboretum Tesino, the river park, the Malene valley, the chain of mountain Cima d’Asta.    


This is one of the few XIX-century thermal towns that has been preserved in its original design: gardens, foothpaths full of flowers, thermal buildings and traditional hotels. Levico is an elegant and populated town with its homes and its street in alpine - style.

Sightseeing: the Hasburg park of the thermal building, the Lake Levico, the hill of the Benne with the homonymous fort, the church of San Biagio with its XIVcentury frescoes, the ruins of Castel Selva, the Vezzena plateau, the Busa Verle fort and the Pizzo di Levico, the thermal spa of Vetriolo and the ski resort Panarotta 2002.
